Bath Osteopath Clinic

About Alison Temple-Smith

Alison Temple-Smith is a fully qualified osteopath and is registered with
the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the British
Osteopathic Association. She is also qualified in the use of
acupuncture needles and therapeutic ultrasound.

After running her own clinic in London for many years, Alison moved to Bath                                         where she became the new proprietor of The Bath Practice, the longest established                 osteopathic and complementary health centre in central Bath. She specialises in adults of all ages
and has a very structural and practical approach.
Her extensive knowledge and experience enables her to
analyse your problems and diagnose your complaints using a
variety of clinical skills. If necessary these will be backed up by
referral to your GP for x-rays or other tests.

Alison´s treatment usually consists of a combination of soft-tissue
releasing techniques and some specific adjustments affecting joints,
muscles, ligaments and tendons. Acupuncture needles, ultrasound or
Kinesio taping may also be used on occasion. Advice is given on
self help treatments, exercises (not too many!) and ergonomics.

Alison is recognised by all major insurance providers
including BUPA and HSA.

“Alison has been an enormous help. Her treatment sessions
are incredibly effective, as are the stretches she gives me
to do in my own time.”
